Elected in 2012, he has enjoyed overwhelming support, securing re-election without opposition in 2016, 2020, and 2024. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to public safety and community engagement as evidenced through his appointment by President Trump to the Homeland Security Advisory Council and several appointments from Governor Ron DeSantis.
Before his tenure as Sheriff, Nocco built a robust career in law enforcement. Prior to becoming Sheriff and working at the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Nocco served as Captain and Major.
